At Mind, we are now looking for a Web Manager/Web Editor for a 1-year fixed-term position starting August 17th. You will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and filling our website with relevant, engaging, and credible content that strengthens knowledge about mental health.

About Mind

Mind is a non-profit organization working with mental health and suicide prevention through compassionate support, knowledge dissemination, and advocacy. We run the Suicide Helpline, Life Line, Parents' Line, and Elderly Line, offering support via chat and phone. The organization has approximately 40 employees and operations nationwide. The work in the support lines is largely digital, and the majority of volunteers take calls from home.

About the role

This is a broad role where you are responsible for the development of the website and work hands-on with content. You are the link between technology, content, and user experience – ensuring everything fits together.

The position is located at Mind's office on Karlavägen in central Stockholm. You will become part of the communications and fundraising team and report to the Head of Communications and Fundraising. The organization has 45 employees and around 600 volunteers. The working hours are goal-oriented, 40 hours per week. The position begins with a structured onboarding. Occasional travel may occur.

Your responsibilities

Strategic and development:

• Ensure a stable, secure, and updated web platform together with suppliers
• Ensure a structured, accessible, and well-functioning website according to current legal requirements and guidelines (e.g., WCAG)
• Be responsible for the website's budget related to maintenance and development
• Drive and project-manage web development based on the organization's goals and users' needs
• Act as the client and contact person towards the web agency
• Gather needs from the organization and translate them into improvements
• Work with web analytics and initiate development efforts

Operational and content:

• Be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging content on our website, from text and images to video material. With an eye for detail and target audience, you ensure the content is relevant, clear, and visually attractive on mind.se
• Ensure that the content is current, correct, and follows tone and guidelines
• Create, develop, and update web pages in WordPress and ensure structure and functionality in existing content
• Produce and adapt content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube)
• Work with SEO for increased visibility in search engines and other digital platforms
• Monitor how the website is used and make simple adjustments for better user flows
• Conduct simple user surveys and tests
• Be responsible for ongoing structure, updating, and maintenance of the website's content and navigation

We are looking for someone who:

• Has post-secondary education in web, communication, digital marketing, or equivalent
• Has at least three years of experience in both web management and content work
• Has relevant knowledge in SEO, accessibility, and digital communication
• Has very good experience working in web publishing systems, especially WordPress
• Has basic knowledge in HTML/CSS
• Knowledge in graphic design
• Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Piwik Pro, or similar)
• Skills in image editing in Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent
• Has experience driving various web projects
• Is confident in writing, editing, and adapting content for different audiences and channels
• Thrives in a role where you get to switch between strategy and operational work
